This watch is powered by the automatic caliber 8L35, designed specifically for diving watches with its precision and durability, manufactured and finished by hand in Seiko Watch Corporation's Shizukuishi Watch Studio.
This specific design is inspired by the 1965 Diver's watch: Seiko's and Japan's first diver's watch, which was used on Japanese Antarctic expeditions until 1969.
The unique dial pattern expresses the history of the challenges of SEIKO divers in the field of professional activities such as the bottom of the sea, the high mountains, or the jungle.
